The problem
The client's marketing team was stuck. Producing a set of email copy variants for a single campaign took weeks. The work moved through manual handoffs between marketing and legal. Across dozens of campaigns, brand tone drifted, lifecycle messaging lost consistency, and legal flags slipped through. Scaling meant hiring more people or missing windows. Neither was acceptable.
The work
Alloy12's founder led the engagement during a prior consulting engagement. The work covered discovery, data model design, agent architecture, integration with the client's marketing platform and project management tool, and the full rollout of the production system.
The solution was an AI content agent that generates email subject lines and body copy variants on request. It pulls product and offer data from the client's marketing platform catalog. It enforces regulated tone and legal review rules through prompt engineering, so variants that would create compliance risk never reach a human reviewer. Every generated variant moves through an approval workflow that lives inside the client's existing project management tool, so marketing, legal, and production teams work in one place instead of three.
The system supports multi-user collaborative editing with component-level locks, so two people working on the same collection do not overwrite each other. A constraint engine flags variants that violate length limits, tone guidelines, or compliance rules before they reach approval. Collections group variants by campaign or by ideation space, which lets the team iterate freely without polluting live campaign work.
What changed
Time to produce a set of variants dropped from weeks per campaign to hours. The marketing team could produce more than five times the volume of variants per campaign compared to the old process. Tone consistency across lifecycle stages improved. Legal flags on sends dropped. The marketing team stopped spending most of its time on copy production and shifted to strategy and campaign planning. The client expanded scope and moved into a phase two engagement based on the results.
The system is live and in production use at the client today.
Stack
The work combined a cloud hosting platform, a major marketing automation platform, a widely-used project management tool, a relational database, and the GPT family of language models. Architecture, data model, prompts, and integrations were all custom.
Why this matters for your business
Most AI consulting work stops at a slide deck. This one shipped, scaled, and is still running. If your team spends weeks on copy production, content variants, or any high-volume creative work that has to pass legal or brand review, the same pattern applies. Alloy12 builds the workflows. It does not just advise on them.
